This is a family complex so please be respectful of our neighbors, they are full time elderly residents, so no loud music / parties (community rule). This is a beautiful new apartment and we would like to keep it that way for other guest and ourselves, as we live here for the majority of the year. Everything is new and is of high quality so please take care so that everyone can enjoy the apartment and the location.
Maximum occupancy is 6 guests, with no sofa sleeping. We have a strictly no smoking policy. Remotely monitored smoke alarm is fitted.
BARBECUES - are not permitted in the Pier2 complex or the apartment / terrace.
IRON & IRONING BOARD - these are available should you need to use them. Located in Bedroom 3 wardrobe. Please use either filtered or distilled water for the iron if steaming.
AIR CONDITIONING - The control unit is located in the lounge and is a central unit and not by individual areas. Please do not leave the doors open when it is on (the aircon will turn off whenthe doors are left open). Additionally fans are provided in all bedrooms.
POOLS - We have 2 pools - a small children's pool at the rear of the building, and the main pool at the front. Hours of opening 9am to 8pm daily May to October. You are fully responsible for the supervisory, safety and behavior of minors at all times within the apartment and complex.
SUN CREAMS - Before using the pool it is mandatory to shower to remove any sun cream. Also please do not sit / lie on indoor furniture with sun cream on as it damages the furnishings. Any damage will be chargeable. If you have sun cream on your body, please enjoy relaxing on the outdoor furniture with the beach towels provided.
TOWELS - Bath towels are provided along with pool / beach towels (stripped towels). Please do not use the light blue bath towels at the pool or beach. There is a washing machine if you do need to refresh during your stay, with washing pods in the cupboard.
TAP WATER - The water is perfectly safe to drink, however, as the water contains a lot of calcium a water filter is provided which we recommend you use. Filtered water is better to drink in tea / coffee, so just refill from the tap and use it for the coffee machine and kettle and store some in the fridge for refreshments. Or of course you can use bottled water!
KEYS & LOCKS - please be aware that the front door is automatically closed from the outside when the door shuts. this does not mean the flat is secure, it should always be locked with the key from the outside or on the inside with turn key knob. Please lock the door from the outside when leaving, the door should not be considered as "securely closed" unless double locked with the key/turn knob. A key is required at the front entrance to the building
SECURITY CAMERA - there is a NEST doorbell at the entrance for security reason.
RUBBISH - when your bin is full it has to be left in the designated waste room on Level S (in the lift) Block 5 carpark (on the left before entering the building). It will NOT be picked up outside the room. Thankyou!
SHOPPING (supermarkets) - Mercadona, Lidl and Supercor are based the Urbanisation Sotogrande, all very close to each other, plus local shops in Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro. You will need use of a car or taxi to get there. There is a small supermarket in the port and also a larger supermarket in Torreguadiaro at the end of the beach car park on the main street should you urgently require something.
MEDICAL - Should you require a pharmacy, the closest is in Torreguadiaro on at the far end of the carpark before you get to the restaurants.

CASH MACHINES / ATMs - are based in the marina just a 7 minute walk - Santander , BBVA and BankInter
TRANSPORT - Autos Aguirre Rent A Car is a local car hire company based in the port. There is a taxi rank located in the carpark next to the entrance of the port beside the security entrance. Directions to taxi rank - when exiting the apartment block main entrance turn left and head to the roundabout (approx 5 mins). The carpark with taxi rank can be found on the left.
