Best scenery anywhere, experience the time of your life

Take the opportunity to explore the local sights with a bit of a hike. This is Castle of Castellar de la Frontera, which is about a 25 minute drive away inland. A beautiful location for a few hours of exercise and sightseeing.

If you are looking for an experience try one of the coffee shops on the way to the castle. Our favorite is Gastrokook coffee shop.

Adventure

Up for a bit of excitement?

Caminito del Rey (around an hour and 30 minutes drive away) is a stunning and breathtaking downhill walk with a view and experience you will never forget. But due to demand and safety you have to pre book at their website.

Looking for more local restaurant recomendations

here are our favorites within a 15 minute walk :-)

Tapas bar suggestions - Puratapa website or Inboca Gastrobar they do not have a website but search and you will find the details. Both 15 minute walk.

There are lots of bars and restaurants just a few minutes across the road from Pier2 in the marina, covering all cuisines Belgium, Indian, Chinese, and Gastro pubs.

If you want to head a bit further afield, then give La Terraza a try in Guadiaro. It serves beautiful modern tapas dishes.

Our recommendation is to book in advance, as all restaurants are busy and outdoor space is limited.
